ORD OH!! ORD OH!!

at long last!! my days as a NSF in SCDF is over! yes. it's been long. 2 years of learning, fighting, quarrelling, laughing, crying, sad-ding(is there such a word?) and mostly, respecting one another is important in NS.

well yest night i didnt sleep that much cause i was thinking about all the last 2 years i had been through. well. lets start from the top.

12th july 2005 : i was enlisted. i was very nervous! i went alone ok. =/ i had to take a cab to Jalan Bahar cause i know i had $20 bucks inside my wallet. -_-. haha the taxi man ask me, "wah NS isit?" haha like he know only. then after reaching BRTC ( Basic Rescue Training Centre ) we were given some bags, if i remember, and take the oath or pledge watever la. haha ya.

well four days at BRTC because i was the fit squad. (last time fit now FAT!) i chose to become a fire-fighter. haha! they say, or my fellow recruits say, the pay is good. didn't i know for the next 3 months at CDA ( Civil Defence Academy ) was the torturing 3 months i had. running, carrying, lifting, half-right down (heh), climbing, and mostly, getting along with my fellow recruits was that tough. but nevertheless, after three months, on the 8th of October 2005, i was posted to Yishun Fire Station. =)

the 1 1/2 years at station, i learn more skills as at station, was the real thing. learning more of the skills makes me prepared to go fight the fire. k mp! but at station, hmm.. i just leave it to memories, cause lots of things during my NS time happened during my NS. especially drill time. i didn't like to do drills. ok i know its good for my mental and stamina but i really didn't like to do drills. heh.

now. i'm a ORD personnel. a civilian. so from now on. a new chapter in my life. i hope for the best for me.
